Yes, today is Daniel Danger day. These two new gig posters from him are on sale today at 2PM EST. I’ve seen a lot of gig posters this year, and I can’t think of any that I like more than these two.
Now this is one amazing concert poster. The artists are Christopher Bowman and Paul Gardner from Florafauna, although there’s nothing really you can do there yet. They do some really amazing work though. You can see it all over at their GigPosters.com profile. This particular poster you can purchase from the GigPosters Classifieds.
I’ve always been a big fan of The Small Stakes. His gig posters are some of the best I’ve seen, and I own a few of them. This new The Decemberists print is awesome. I actually first saw this over at I Want Your Skull, a site dedicated to skull related art. This particular poster is 18″ x 24″ and is $25.
I have not posted many gig posters lately! This Feist print by Largemammal Print is pretty awesome. I really like the newest Feist album, and it seems like she’s really making it big now, especially with that new itunes commercial I see all the time on TV.
I’m not a big fan of these bands, but this poster by Daniel Danger is absolutely amazing. I hope he releases an art print of this poster someday.
I am a huge Morrissey fan. This poster by StrawberryLuna is great. I saw him live a few months ago and it was an amazing show. Morrissey definitely still has it.
I somehow missed this awesome gig poster from Daniel Danger. It won’t happen again, I promise.
I was actually at the Austin show and it was awesome. Morrissey still really knows how to put on a show. This poster is by Jermaine Rogers and is huge(30″ x 22″). It’s a limited edition of 100 and is $50 + shipping. His prints usually sell out the day they go on sale, so buy it if you like it(and it’s still available).
Animal Collective is an amazing band, and this is an amazing concert poster by Brian Turner at Cricket Press. They have a ton of other really impressive gig posters and art prints for sale too here.

Another gem from The Small Stakes. This particular poster is 18″ x 24″ and is $25. Also if you have not heard Blonde Redhead yet you’re really missing out. They are a great band.
Another amazing print from Daniel Danger. I think I own just about everything he’s done now, and I’m probably going to buy this one too. I love the ship/ghost theme. You can buy this one, and many of his other prints from his website.
I really like this Annuals concert poster by Gregg Gordon for the Noise Pop 2007 Festival in San Francisco. You can purchase it from Gigart.com.
Isis is an awesome band and this is an awesome poster by Kevin Mercer at Largemammal Print. I actually saw this at SXSW and was drooling over it. Be sure and check out all the other posters for sale at Largemammal Print. There’s a lot of extremely impressive stuff.
Flatstock is a huge poster convention that happens a couple of times a year. They always have a show during SXSW, which I go to since I live in Austin, TX. If you like art I would highly recommend coming by the Austin Cention Center during March 15th, 16th, and 16th. I think I spent $500+ last year. There’s so many good artists and posters there, it’s unbelievable.
The poster below is by Leia Bell and will be for sale at Flatstock, as well as her web site after March 17th.
I really like this new gig poster from The Small Stakes. I love their minimalist style. This particular poster is 18″ x 24″ and is selling for $25.
Daniel Danger has two new amazing gig posters for sale. I love his stuff, and I have quite a few of them hanging from my walls. The first poster is actually three posters in one. There’s only 25 of them left and they are $50 each. The second one is 12″ x 24″ and is $25.
Another quality gig poster from Jay Ryan. The poster is a limited edition of 310 and is selling for $30 at Jay Ryan’s Site, The Bird Machine.
Ratatat is an extremely cool band, and this is an extremely cool poster from MikeTyson Design. Here’s a blog post from one of the artists telling a little bit more about the poster. There’s not much cooler than a skeleton with a beard the size of an elephant. I originally saw this poster on I Want Your Skull, an cool blog about all things skeletons.
StrawBerryLuna has this new The Decemberists poster for sale. It’s a limited edition of 140 and is $25. I’ve seen a lot of The Decemberists posters lately from their current tour and this one is probably my favorite so far.
Jay Ryan has this new The Shins poster for sale. It’s an 18″ x 24″ limited edition of 275 and is $30. I saw The Shins live a couple of years ago in Austin, TX. I took some really great pictures of the show, but I have yet to upload them. I really need to one of these days. Here’s a bunch of concert photos I’ve taken of other bands in the past.
Dan McCarthy has two new prints for sale that are both incredible. Can you see the Dinosaur in the second one? The first print is $30 and the second one is only $15. You can buy both, as well as a ton of other impressive prints, at Dan’s Site.
Insound has a bunch of limited edition concert posters for sale on their website for bands such as Broken Social Scene, Joanna Newsom, Wolf Parade, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bright Eyes, The Decemberists, M Ward, The Knife, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, and Built to Spill. You can see them all here. They all seem to be $15 which is extremely cheap. My personal favorite would probably be this Broken Social Scene one.
