I am in love with this print by Julianna Swaney. It’s 8.5″ x 11″ and is only $26. Here’s her description of it:
This drawing was inspired by the story of Eugene Schieffelin, the man who tried to introduce all the birds mentioned in the plays of Shakespeare into the Americas. On March 6th 1890 he released a few cages of starlings into Central Park, and now starlings are among the most common birds in the US.
I always liked the strangeness of this story and image of a fancy 19th century man releasing cages of birds in a snowy landscape.
She has more art for sale in her Etsy Shop.

That’s a nice print, and that story has always been a personal favorite of mine too. Too bad, it’s already sold out :(
I’ve been enjoying your site for awhile, keep up the good work!

Yeah the quantity said “1″ on the Etsy product page. I’ve noticed that sometimes an artist will have a bunch of prints but will only put 1 up for sale at a time on Etsy. I’m not sure why. I would keep checking back on her Etsy page for it to be in stock again.
